Set in beautiful tropical gardens the Calabash is an exquisite all-suite hotel with accommodation facing across the gardens towards the powdery white sand beach. Each day starts with breakfast prepared by your personal maid and served on your terrace or balcony. Extra touches include complimentary fresh fruit or fruit punch served on the beach each morning, afternoon tea, and canapés served each evening in your suite. Dining at the Calabash is a delight as one of Gary Rhodes’ top chefs is based here at the Rhodes Restaurant creating imaginative, quality dishes to delight the most discerning visitors. This is the celebrity chef’s only restaurant in the Caribbean. The staff are extremely friendly, caring and hospitable and welcome guests as friends, and the atmosphere is one of Caribbean informality with the emphasis on understated elegance.
30 suites with a bedroom and separate lounge, a terrace or balcony, air conditioning, ceiling fans, mini-bar, safe, whirlpool bath, shower, bathrobes, hairdryer, CD and DVD players, satellite TV and wireless network connection, tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have king-size beds, which can be made into twin beds on request. Some suites can be inter-connecting and 2 suites are suitable for wheelchair users. West Side Suites (6) – On upper and ground floors with facilities as described above. Whirlpool Suites (6) - All on the upper floor with facilities as above but with slightly different layout and décor. Superior Suites (10) – With facilities as above, these suites are more spacious and are on upper and ground floors. Pool Suites (7) – All on the ground floor, these suites have an extended terrace and a private plunge pool.
