Hotel Odisej
(Room and breakfast or half board)
A pleasant hotel sheltering in a quiet cove in the seaside hamlet of Pomena at the western tip of Mljet island. Legend has it that Odysseus once resided here with his nymph Calypso and that St Paul ran aground en-route to Italy.
This fabulous island is famous for its national park, an area of untouched Mediterranean forest and 2 saltwater lakes linked by a network of walking paths. The park is a haven for wildlife, walking, snorkeling and sunbathing. A boat service operates across the lake to the tiny islet of St Mary where there is a 12th century Benedictine monastery. Guests seem captivated by the natural splendour of it all. A secluded, away-from-it-all island retreat, possibly one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean if not the world.

156 air-conditioned bedrooms and apartments with shower, hairdryer, mini-bar and TV. Some sea view and garden view rooms have a balcony or terrace. Inter-connecting, family rooms are available on request.

Air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with terrace and snack bar • Buffet breakfast and dinner • Pizzeria, beach bar • Lounge , Shop • Private beach , Children’s swimming pool, sun terrace • Sauna, massage, beauty treatments, gym , Free entrance to Mljet National Park , Cycling, kayaks, canoes, diving, sailing, windsurfing, tours & excursions (local charge).
Something Special
Like Odysseus and his maiden, you may never want to leave this green and mystical island.
