Situated on the north west coast by a marvellous 8km long white sandy beach the Resort Dune Village has 440 rooms and suites within 5 hotels, each distinct from each other although most of the facilities are interchangeable.

There is a central Piazza with boutiques and an activity centre. Inspired by a large number of animators and entertainment staff there is plenty to do throughout the day and evening.

The beach has two areas reserved for hotel guests: one is in front of the resort entrance with free deckchairs and umbrellas and the other 200m to the west, which is exclusively for guests of hotels Le Rocce, La Duna Bianca and Deluxe Wellness rooms of Le Sabine.

Free windsurfers and a sailing school with catamarans and canoes are offered on the beach (subject to availability).

The beach is approximately 10 minutes stroll downhill from the resort main areas. The resort is approximately 10 minutes by road to Isola Rossa.
Resort Dune Village operates a no-cash policy where guests carry a prepaid club card for extras, which are settled against the card at the end of the stay. Methods of payment are by credit card or cash.

Dining Arrangements

House wine and mineral water are included at meal times (except Ristorante Il Romantico)
There are 7 restaurants (reservation required for dinner except in Il Nautilus):
Il Nautilus is the breakfast restaurant for Hotel I Ginepri and is also open to all guests for brunch and buffet dinner. It serves mainly international cuisine

  • Il Pomodoro is for breakfast for Hotel Le Palme and during the day and evening specialises in wood-fired pizzas and ice cream. Waiter service
  • Il Romantico is for breakfast for Hotel Le Rocce and à la carte candlelit dinners with waiter service. A supplement is payable by guests of hotels I Ginepre, Le Sabine and Le Palme but not by guests of hotels Le Rocce or La Duna Bianca. Children under 6 are not accepted. Free babysitting service for children 18 months-5 years is available in the ‘Magic Castle’ area for parents dining at Il Romantico
  • Carrimbanca specialises in buffets with grilled meat and typical Sardinian dishes in Galluran-farmhouse style 
  • Scorfano is for buffets with mixed grilled fish with a supplement of €10 per person payable by all guests (children under 6 free)
  • Alla Spiaggia is a few steps from the beach. It offers buffets, pasta and fish
  • Fico d’India is for vegetarians
  • Peter Pan is exclusively for children’s lunch (closed Saturdays)
  • Mediterranean Brunch is a buffet lunch served daily from 12.30 to 14.30
  • La Duna Bianca guests are served breakfast in the room until 10.30 at no extra charge.

‘Magic Castle’  (Duneland)

Baby Club from 18 months to 3 years, open from 08.45 to 18.30.  A medical certificate signed by a doctor not more than 3 days prior to departure stating that the baby is free from all infectious illnesses is required.
Peter Pan baby restaurant: children under 2 years must be accompanied by a parent. Feeding bottles, sterilisers, mixers and bottle warmers all available (on request)

  • Mini Club and Junior Club for children from 4 to 12 years, open from 09.00 to 18.30. Various recreational and sports activities according to age, with the possibility of leaving the children for lunch with qualified staff in the Peter Pan restaurant
  • Fantasy Village is an open air play area with a supervised pool, set among pines and dunes
  • Castle Dune is for small children with play centres, cinema and toys, cots and nursing bottles etc.
  • Young Club: from 13 to 16 years old, with interesting and challenging activities planned throughout the day and the evening. Courses and sporting tournaments as for adults.
  • Hire of push chair €20 per stay plus refundable deposit
  • Babysittingavailable at a local charge.

The Hotels

All 440 mostly double bedrooms (twins on request in some hotels) are air-conditioned with furnished terrace, satellite TV, safe, fridge, shower and hairdryer. Many of the rooms are shaded by flowering trees and shrubs.

Hotel Le Palme

Better suited for young couples with small children.

Rooms & Views

Standard rooms, which accommodate 2 adults and an infant or 1 child under 8 on a sofa bed.

Hotel I Ginepri

Better suited for families.

Rooms & Views

Superior rooms are with a double bed and accommodate up to 2 adults and a child under 17 on a sofa bed and an infant. Family rooms have a bedroom with a double bed and a separate lounge with single sofa beds and can accommodate up to 5 persons. Senior Suites are similar to Family Rooms but also have a second twin bedroom with twin beds and can accommodate up to 6 persons and an infant. Senior suite bookings must include at least 3 adults.

Hotel Le Rocce

Le Rocce is in a quiet area of the resort and does not accept children under 6. It is best suited for couples. A private area is reserved on the beach

Rooms & Views

Le Rocce has 58 Superior rooms with double bed and the possibility of an extra bed for a child over 6 and under 17. They also have a large private terrace.

Hotel La Duna Bianca

The highly recommended La Duna Bianca is exclusive and romantic and set just a few steps from the beach.

Rooms & Views

All rooms have a bath and shower or hydro massage shower and a large furnished terrace.

Royal 2 rooms have a double bed and a lounge area and can accommodate 2 adults and an infant. Royal 4 rooms are similar to Royal 2 but can accommodate an additional 2 children under 17 on twin sofa beds. Maximum occupancy is 4 persons. President rooms are a more prestigious version of Royal 4.

Hotel & Spa Le Sabine

New for 2009 this is a prestigious hotel and spa suitable for couples with an area for adults only.

Rooms & Views

De-luxe rooms have a double bed (twins on request) and accommodate two adults and an infant.
