Sardinia Fly & Sail - Sailor Made
6 nights sailing + 1 night hotel on Sardinia Bon Appetit: 4 dinners, 6 antipasti lunches & 7 breakfasts
See the islands of Sardinia and Corsica from your private yacht as you sail round the beautiful Maddalena archipelago off the Costa Smeralda and the Iles Lavezzi off Bonifacio in Southern Corsica.
The archipelago is a favourite sailing area for yachtsmen, and there are a number of regattas each year. Historically, the islands have been made famous by Nelson and Garibaldi, and in 1997 the area was granted National Park status.
The Maddalena archipelago comprises 7 large islands and a sprinkling of smaller ones, and the Iles Lavezzi, in Corsican waters, offer a similar number. Everywhere you will marvel at the emerald sea, pristine beaches, sweeping shorelines and deserted coves.
You choose the itinerary each day in consultation with the skipper.
The boats are mostly based on the Costa Smeralda, although we also have one in the south of the island, which has a range as far as the Aeolian Islands
Boats are available from noon Saturday and must be returned to the designated marina by sunset on the Friday of check-out.
The final night of the holiday will be arranged by us in Sardinia at the most convenient location for the next stage of your itinerary. We may not be able to advise you of the exact accommodation until near departure. Alternatively you may wish to book an additional week at one of our featured hotels, in which case we shall confirm your hotel at the time of booking.
Each boat will have at least one shower and w.c.
They come with an experienced, English-speaking skipper. A hostess/cook is included in the prices for Rumbera and available at an extra charge for others.
