This delightful, family-run hotel is situated in the medieval village of Castelmola. Perched high on the hillside, there are dramatic views over the old town of Taormina and to the sea beyond.

From the spacious restaurant terrace and rooms to the rear there are stunning outlooks over the peaceful countryside and Mount Etna. This hotel was built in 1999 and finished to the highest standard, rich in antiques and other artefacts. The restaurant is noted for its extensive wine list. Taormina is within 4km and accessible by the hotel’s free shuttle bus, a public bus service or taxi.

51 twin or double bedrooms are air-conditioned (in July and August) with shower, satellite TV, safe and mini-bar.

Standard rooms are relatively simple and do not have a memorable view.

Garden cottage rooms with Etna view are new for 2008 and are located in a spectacular position in the gardens. Each has a large furnished terrace with a splendid uninterrupted view of Mount Etna. The restaurant and main area of the hotel is within a 4 minutes stroll involving an incline.

Standard Etna view rooms have a small balcony with 2 chairs.
