A classical villa, now elegantly restored throughout, this was Taormina’s first hotel and fittingly it enjoys an enviable location nestling next to the Greco-Roman amphitheatre with spectacular views over the Bay of Naxos and, in clear weather, snow-capped Mount Etna. Extensive renovation has restored the elegant style, which captivated its royal and illustrious guests in the past and now attracts the world’s celebrities, especially during the Taormina film festival, normally held in June or early July.
