Sicily is attractive not only for its stunning scenery and culinary delights, but also for its fascinating blend of cultures including Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Arab and Norman. Architectural treasures are strung out like jewels around the island, and most of them can be visited on this tour.

Driving in Sicily is less daunting than many people imagine. The roads are generally good, especially the autostrada, and the driving is mostly disciplined and courteous. We pre-book your accommodation and provide you with a hotel voucher on a half board basis (dinner, room and breakfast) for each night in a three star hotel according to the itinerary shown on this page. The names of the hotels booked and their exact location and telephone numbers will be sent to you with your tickets, or advised to you by the Holiday Options representative on your arrival in resort.

Unused hotel vouchers are not refundable.

A Group B car has been included in the cost. Alternative group cars can be requested, subject to availability and at a supplement.

The driver should be a minimum of 23 years of age and be carrying a valid UK driver's licence, which has been held for a minimum of one year. A refundable deposit for the petrol is required. A credit card imprint will be taken, and will be debited should the car not be returned with a full tank of petrol.
