The Hotel Porto Conte is 12km from Alghero and is located in a fine position overlooking the magnificent bay of Porto Conte. Surrounded by a pine wood, it was designed and built in a Catalan style which blends with and complements the natural surroundings.
The many and varied facilities of the hotel make it ideal for families. The beach facilities are largely focused on watersports, which include sailing, canoeing, diving and waterskiing and can be organised by the hotel, as well as mountain biking, trekking and other excursions.
The restaurant offers an extensive continental buffet breakfast and waiter service for dinner with a choice of Catalan and Sardinian specialities. A selection of freshly-baked pastries and cakes are frequently offered after dinner.

All 148 rooms are air-conditioned with an en suite bathroom, most with shower, satellite TV, telephone and balcony. Views from the rooms are sea facing or of the surrounding pinewood forest. Interconnecting family rooms may be available on request.).

Purchase of the hotel Clubcard is obligatory for the period of 07 June to 13 September and payment of euros 28 per adult (euros 17.50 per child) per week will be charged to guests on arrival. The Clubcard entitles guests to use all the beach and port facilities, group tennis lessons, aerobics, dancing lessons, morning and evening entertainment, and mini-club for children (operates 14 June to 06 September).

This hotel enjoys an excellent location on a lovely sandy beach with good facilities for families, yet close enough to Alghero to enjoy the charms of the historic old town. It is difficult to photograph, and hence depict all its attractive features. Car hire recommended.
