The excursions described below are according to 2004 prices and departure days which may differ in 2005. Lunch (drinks extra) is included on the full day excursions. The operation of excursions may depend on weather and road/sea conditions and the number of clients wishing to participate.

Daily Half Day Castelsardo @ £11 per adult (£9 per child)
Depart 15.30 and drive to the charming town of Castelsardo built on a promontory overlooking the sea. The visit includes Doria Castle and the old town famous for its traditional handicraft. Arrival back in your hotel during the early evening.
Tuesday Full Day to the Archipelago of La Maddalena @ £31 per adult (£25 per child)
Depart 07.50 by boat for the beautiful islands which make up the Archipelago of La Maddelena. A tour of the historic town of La Maddalena is included and there is time for a swim off the smaller islands of Spargi and Santa Maria. A pasta lunch on board is included. Arrival back in your hotel during the early evening.
Wednesday Full Day Costa Smeralda @ £25 per adult (£9 per child)
Depart 07.45 and drive across northern Sardinia to the " Emerald Coast " where the first stop is fashionable Porto Cervo which is popular with millionaires and celebrities. Here are buzzing squares, designer shops and wall to wall yachts mingling with luxury villas. Continue to Cannigione where lunch at the Hotel Cala di Falco is included and in the afternoon there is time to visit one of the beautiful beaches for which this area is so famous. Arrive back at your hotel during the early evening.
Friday Full Day Alghero and Stintino @ £25 per adult (£18 per child)
Depart 07.45 for Alghero, the tourism capital of northern Sardinia which is a fascinating town of immense historical interest. After a paella lunch continue to Stintino for a swim off the famous and magnificent beach of La Pelosa. |
