The excursions described below are according to 2004 prices and departure days which may differ in 2005. Meals and entrance fees are not included in the price unless specifically stated. The operation of excursions may depend on weather and road/sea conditions and the number of clients wishing to participate.

Daily Full Day Boat Trip @ £37 per adult (£19 per child 4-10)
Depart Calvi at 09.15 and cruise along the rugged west coast and into the Marine Nature Reserve of Scandola. Step ashore at the small village of Girolata for a visit of approximately 2 hours for lunch (not included). Girolata is only accessible from the sea or by cliff path.
Return to Calvi at around 15.00
Daily Half Day Boat Trip @ £29 per adult (£15 per child 4-10)
Depart Calvi at 14.30 for the Marine Nature Reserve of Scandola. Return to Calvi around 17.15
Twice weekly Full Day Boat Trip @ £47 per adult (£23.50 per child 4-10)
Depart Calvi at 09.00 and cruise along the rugged west coast and into the Marine Nature Reserve of Scandola. Continue along the coast, passing the resorts of Piana and Porto. Cruise round the spectacular Iles Sanguinaires before reaching Corsica's capital, Ajaccio where you stop for a visit and lunch (not included in the price) for about 3 hours. Return to Calvi by late afternoon.
Monday Half Day to Bonifato Forest @ £7 per adult (£4.50 per child 2-12)
Depart by bus from Calvi at 14.30 and proceed to Bonifato Forest, an area of spectacular beauty with mountain streams, lakes and wild life. Return to Calvi at 18.00
Wednesday Full Day Lakes, Villages and Mountains Tour @ £18 per adult (£14 per child 6-11 and £9 per child 2-5)
Depart by bus from Calvi at 07.30 for this spectacular tour of remote parts of the interior and the western coast which will include Ponte Leccia, Foret de Valdoniello, Col de Vergio (1464m), Porto (lunch stop not included in the price), Calanches de Piana and Col de Palmerella. Return to Calvi early evening.
Friday Full Day Cap Corse @ £18 per adult (£14 per child 6-11 and £9 per child 2-5)
Depart by bus from Calvi at 07.30 for a tour which includes all the main features including Saint Florent, Desert des Agriates and a stop in Bastia for lunch (not included). Return to Calvi early evening.
Saturday Half Day Hidden Villages @ £11 per adult (£7 per child 6-11 and £5 per child 2-5)
Depart by bus from Calvi at 14.30 for an excursion which includes an interesting insight into the interior whilst visiting some of Corsica's more famous and "hidden" ancient villages. Return to Calvi early evening. |
