Fly Drive Tour

Driving in Sardinia is less daunting than many people imagine. The roads are generally good, especially the autostrada, and the driving is mostly disciplined and courteous. Of course, it is also spectacular and adventurous, and the unexpected will always happen to hold you up, be it a farmer moving his sheep, a village procession or some other quaint local custom. We have chosen 4 stars hotels, which are warm and friendly. However, sometimes these specific hotels may not be available and we shall then reserve hotels of a similar standard. The names of the hotels booked and their exact location and telephone number will be sent to you with your tickets, or advised to you by the Holiday Options representative in resort.

Our two selected itineraries take in the main areas. Prices are based on two adults sharing a room and include breakfast. We provide unlimited km in an air-conditioned Grade D car (Fiat Palio or Fiat Brava) to allow for ample luggage space and comfort. Theft loss waiver and CDW are included. We do not include petrol, fines or extras. You will be asked to supply credit card details as a deposit against any damage and against any petrol costs should the car not be returned with a full tank of petrol.

The driver should be a minimum of 25 years old and carry a full UK or EU driver’s licence which has been held for a minimum of one year. There is a charge for an additional driver. Distances are approximate and depend upon the hotels booked. Due to crowded roads and hot and humid weather we do not offer these holidays between 23 July and 20 August. We recommend you combine a fly-drive tour with a stay at one of the resort hotels or villas featured in this brochure.
